I have been having on reoccurring issue with studio one though. Every time i open studio one i am unable to then hear anything off my computer. Whether it be a video on Youtube, sound-cloud, or playing some beats off my desktop. I tired changing the setting to window in the audio advanced bar off of studio one, but it still doesn't work. The only way i can hear anything off YouTube again is when i close Studio one, and even then sometimes it doesn't work, and i have to reset, or unplug my interface and re-plug it.

I am currently using a zoom R16 interface, and have a windows Desktop.

Is there a way I can record the audio coming out through the speakers of my audio interface into studio one? I often like to play along to tracks from Spotify and would like to be able to capture that audio and place it into studio one so I can play along and record parts over it. I have programs such as virtual audio cable and voicemeter banana installed, but I can't seem to get it to work.

I want to adjust a track upward or downward by microtonal amounts (setting A to 448, A to 432, etc.). I know how to do this in Audacity (gasp), but would prefer to do it within Studio One 4.

Part of the purpose is so I can then record period instruments at their proper/native pitch and match the accompaniment tracks, rather than raising the period instruments to 440.

I can't for the life of me work out how to get this to work. Here's the scenario:

Load up Kontakt. Load up an instrument from whatever library. Bind a bunch of hardware controls to software controls. Now change that instrument to another one from a different library and bind those hardware controls to that instruments' software controls. Doesn't work.

I thought maybe this is because it's taking that Kontakt instance as the focus rather than the instrument itselt so won't reassign. So i load up a new Kontakt instance on a new track and try again. Still doesn't work.

What trick am i missing here? Can someone shed some light?

I have a song with a couple of audio tracks and one Instrument track (with Precense). It all works fine. So far so good.
But when I add a new instrument track, pick an instrument and record it it simply doesn't record! It sounds correct wheter I use QWERTY or my exteal MIDi-KB that I always use. I can even see the "lines" in the track as long as I press a keys,and it follows the notes. But as soon as I release the key it disappears. Nothing gets recorded as if it was "record protected".
I can't even record in the first existing "working" track.
When I create a new song I can create as many instr tracks that I want and it works, but it refuses to record on this specific song (and some others, it has happened before.
Problem I am missing something really basic/fundamental. If so, please tell me what before I get crazy(ier).

I have no playback nor recording when I have Windows Audio selected:

When I got into Song Setup the inputs and outputs are correctly setup but have "disabled" above each chael.

When I've plugged in an audiobox that works okay but recently my Windows Audio just isn't working with Studio One 2 Artist?

It would be great have the Fat Chael Plugins Collection available for StudioLive III Console Mixers aux, subgroups and main out. It would be also a very handy feature if these beautiful plugins could be equipped with some useful presets

Is there any chance that Presonus makes waves in the industry by supporting Linux natively in 2019? I for one am migrating over from Windows and would love to take Studio ONE with me. In multiple verses of lyrics, sometimes a dotted slur is required to show whether the syllables and notes should be articulated differently.

I caot notate below a low F below the bass clef, as the notes are gray. This is extremely aoying. Why?

I asked this question more than a year ago when trying out Notion 5, moving to Notion 6.

Eg., A bassoon can play beyond a low F, down to a low Bb, but caot notate this unless I manually move the note.

I am new to studio one and in the process of setting up templates that suit my workflow however I am having trouble with the track folders when I link them to busses, on the bus chael in the mixer when i click the folder button only one of the tracks on the bus goes into the folder.
I am sure there mus be a step I am missing or something in the setting causing this.
any help with this would be much appreciated

I am not an expert on this but i was wondering if it would be possible to get the areas between some markers(not just start and end ) in a song session to the mastering session as individual tracks. I do some music for video game soundtracks and it would be really helpful for checking if some looped sequences worked. Until now i had to bounce it between the markers as mixdown and import the mixdown files into the mastering session.

With the StudioLive CS18AI, if I want to add a GEQ to a number of mics (e.g. 4 choir mics). Would this be the process? create a mix group (on faders 1-12) with the 4 choir mics that has group selected

I notice that none of the waves plugins are allowing side chaining in studio one 4. Waves v10 plugins like vocal rider and C6 have no sidechain button at the top like the Presonus Default ones or my Izotope plugins that have sidechain button as expected. Not sure why the waves ones do not. Any ideas?

I recently got the Klipsech R-51M studio monitors as a gift. Being a bit tight on cash, I opted to purchase speaker wire to 1/4 inch cables as opposed to buying a receiver. It appears that this has worked fine, but the monitors are extreme quiet and low quality in sound. Do I need to buy an amp for them? If so how would I coect that?

Also I'm very new to all of this so any help would be appreciated.

I have studio one 4 prime and I purchased the v1.0.0.0 Pro Plug-in Bundle for Studio One Prime and after downloading and says installed it does not show up in the inserts

I have bought quantum ,xps15 9560 and a TB16 thunderbolt dock. The TB16 have an extra tb3 outport and I have test it by another tb3 dock,and it's work. I coected the interface to pc via an apple adapter direct plug in the pc and it's work.but when I plug the interface to the tb16, I can't see the interface in system.

should I change the adapter to a official recomend model? or the interface is just can not work through a dock?

I opened a song a heard a low hiss. I checked the tracks and some of the tracks were showing low level volume on the VU. See picture. I created new tracks and brought file over to the new track which corrected the problem for a minute and then the hiss came back. Thoughts?
